The lab was born when the Broussard family saw a need in  the community for a  lab service provider and partner that could perform not only blood testing but COVID-19 when the 2020 pandemic struck.  In 2025, the ownership team expanded and an experienced sales group from North Louisiana joined to create a truly unique operation.  Premier is a local lab that can now offer not only blood, but comprehensive urine drug testing (including the latest designer synthetics), and next day PCR testing for Respiratory illnesses, STD's, UTI's, Wound and Women's Health.
